Have you met our furriend @CaplinROUS? He is a ROUS. That's a Rodent Of Unusual Size. He really is! He is VERY big. Like 100 pounds!

He's a capybara kind of ROUS. And he lives in Texas. Not too far from KC, I guess.

He likes popsicles and yogurts. And Mini-wheats. (I hope Mini doesn't know he's got her wheats!)

Thursday Thirteen Embarrassing Beans Meme

Our buddy Fin started this meme cuz she was embarrassed at first by her human bean's behavior sumtimes. Then she realized all beans are embarrassing sumtimes. We knows. Oh do we knows. Here's just SUM of the ways our beans are embarrasin.

1. Mommy sings like a dyin tree frog. (Dis is kinda common in beans, we finks, but it's still embarassin.)
2. Mommy frows away purrfectly good real live deaded mousies.
3. Grandma Cat makes skeery monster snufflin noises sumtimes when she sleeps.
4. Gree says sumtimes Mommy scoops the box upstares then leafs the poops in a bag next to the box. How stoopid is dat? Is it better outside da box?
   
5. Mommy can't fink of a fing to say on her own twitter. *snicker*
6. Mommy and Grandma Cat both get in rain in the house on purpose. They are nutz.
7. Mommy is furry embarassin when she takes off her fake furs. She is UGLY nekkid!
   I hope she don't do dat in public.
8. Mommy can't meow worf nuffin, but she still tries.
9. Grandma can't see in da dark at all. She trips on me in da dark.
10. Grandma calls Mini by Boni's name and vicey versy.
    
11. Grandma calls Pepi by Mini or Boni's name. Sheesh and he's all floofy.
12. Mommy talks all silly half da time to me, like I can't unnerstand real words, like I wuz a baby or somefing.
13. Mommy is lazee and hasn't helped us put our awards on our site like dis cool one we gots frum Derby just dis week. What a rotten sekretary she can be.

We agrees. Beans can be embarassin as ayche eee double hockeystix. They can scritch good tho and their opposable thums are nise.

I hadded a furry good time dis weekend. I spented sum time at da #weekendroadtrip fur charity wif my twitter anipals. Dat's where I weared my shades. And I spented lotsa time wif my handsum boyfriendcat Miles snugglin on tha foo-ton at his Daddy's. I is a travelin tuxie!

Today I fink I'll stay at home n snuggle wif Miles on the table wif the cat beds. It's da one on da sun porch. We can watch squirrelses too.

Lookie who's here for furriend's Friday today! It's Monkey!

Monkey is a good furriend I met cause a Kitty Fite Club. She n I was in the finals wif Baby Patches. And we chats on Twitter too! She's @Monkey_Cat and yoo cat chat wif her too.

Monkey sez:

Well let's see, a little about me...I is a little over 1, I lives in Los Angeles and I luvs my forever home and humans. I has a sis named Mystic! She is Tortie likes me, but is mostly black! We is from same liter and went to same foster homes. Luckily, our forever humans took us both so dat we could stay together. We no always get along, but I couldn't lives wifout her(shhh don't tells her I said dat. kThx) I also has a grandma cat named Mouse who is a tuxedo kitteh. She is 18 and has 3 legs(likes @OscartheCat). We has to take care of her because she so old. She has some good days and some bad days, but we tries to helps her when we can. She doesn't always want us around, but we luvs her anyway.

My typical day: laying around in da sunbeams, catching bugs, scratching furniture, getting in troublez, meowing on twitter and surfing the interwebs for cool things to show on MonkeyTV(my blog). I has to admit I has i pretty good....I has great family, good nom noms and plenty of comfy places to chill. Oh and about dat troublez part...I can't helps myself, it just sort of happens...it seeks me out really! But likes I tell humans, you named me Monkey for a reason so I is just living up to my names! MOL They no can argue wif dat!

Mommy got a mousie!

Pepi is hidin under the bed. He is ashamed. Cuz the one of us who gotted the last mousie was Mommy!!! She caughted him in a trap!!! Wif peenut butter! Mommy doesn't like to play wif mousies tho, so she taked him out away frum the house and letted him go outta the mice cube.

We fink Pepi should come out frum under the bed tho. Mommy tolded him not to feel bad cuz she knewed if he was tall enuff to open the attik door or short enuf to go under it, he'd have gotted the mousie instead.

Miffed Mancat Monday

I'm miffed. I hunted down a mouse and deaded it. I thought about eating it, but I wasn't really hungry, so I didn't. So Mom threw it away! In the brush outside. Sheesh. Humans.

Well you know what? Next time I hunt down a mouse and deaded it, I'm going to hide it where she can't find it. Then it'll stink later. That'll show her.

Since I can't play with my deaded mouse any more, let's go visit Sam and Mr T and see the BKCFoC for this weekend. They were way cool and stepped in at the last minute to help out Miz Mog who has a sick with a bad infection. So let's go visit them. And When Cats Attack has a great CotC for us too. So when we're not busy being miffed at silly humans or napping, we can visit there too.

Oh, and BKCFoC needs a host for this coming weekend. Can you help? Mom's on mad-making prednisone again and she may not be able to see colors right even, or we'd volunteer. If you're baaaaaaaad please consider helpin out cuz Momma Astrid and Kashim can't do it all themselves yanno.

They founds my picture on petfinder.com and da rest is history cause I is here wif em now! The whole first night I purred very loudly as I always do, so dat is where I got da nickname Motor. I am a Turkish Angora so I is very active and playful, so much dat I kept momma & daddy up nights when I was younger. I turned 1 years old in April and I has 1 sisfur LociLu (snowshoe breed) and 1 brofur Lucky (Siamese mix breed). I chases Lucky around and throw paws wif him. And I wrassle wif LociLu and I cleans her too!
