Pawty time Comin!

Do yoo like my sombrayroh?

There's a #pawpawty comin this weekend! It's a Cinco de Mayo pawty on Twitter for kitties and other critters. That's whyI gots my sombrayroh on! I's ready to pawty! Twitter pawties are chat pawties like our CB chatzy pawties. They's lots of fun. It starts at 2:00pm eastern daylite time (1pm central, noon mountain, 11am pacific). This pawty runs a whole 24 hours so's everycritter that wantsta pawty can come no matter where they is in the world.

It's not *just* a pawty. It's also a FUNdraiser for Margaret Green Animal Rescue in the UK. I's speshully a'cited cuz I's nefur goned to a FUNdraiser for a UK shelter. @FrugalDougal is hostin and he's got info bout the pawty and a link to the FUNdraiser at his bloggy and yoo can RSVP there on his sidebar too. Efun if yoo can't go to the pawty, consider gifin a dollar or two for this UK shelter pleez.

How do yoo go to a Twitter #pawpawty?

Some of my bloggin furriends has asked cuz they hasn't used Twitter a'fore. Well, here's how yoo can pawty!

Get reddy. Yoo can do this aheada time or on pawty day.

1. REKWIRED Get yoreself a Twitter account at Twitter.com. They's free.
2. OPSHUNAL Dress up in a Cinco de Mayo outfit for yore Twitter profile pikshur. (Blingee.com has sombrayrohs.)
3. OPSHUNAL Send a twitter msg @EmmytheCat to tell her yoo got yore outfit on. (if yoo wants to enter the costoom contest or just fur fun.)
   
4. OPSHUNAL RSVP to @FrugalDougal on TwitVite on the sidebar of his bloggy
5. OPSHUNAL Follow pawty prize donors on Twitter so's yoo can win pawty purrizes. A list of donors is at Frugal Dougal's bloggy. (fanks @Petiethecat fur the tip!)
   
6. OPSHUNAL Join Twibes and (follow the critters there on twitter is best) so's yoo can get updates on pawty stuff. (fanks @Emmythecat fur the tip).

1. To attend, when yoo send pawty tweet messages includin @replies put this hashtag in yore tweets: #pawpawty. Be sure to spells #pawpawty wif NO r's.

Thankful Thursday

We are thankful that Mom came home cussin and cryin instead of deaded yesterday. She survived her first PT! (Physical Therapy)

What's that Mom? PT means Personalized Torture? Oh. Ok.

But she surviveded it. Yay! And we's furry glad.

We will snoopervise her daily home Personalized Torture exercises to make sure she does them right too. Cuz we luvs our Mom.

Mancat Monday

I am the mancat. Notice that the mancat does NOT wear bunny ears after Easter. That's like a law. It's also like a law or something that mancats have to look after Moms too. I've been doing my best. She seems to be healing and itcheying, so I guess it's working.

Fanks to all the mancats and girlcats who came over and helped sit on Mom's hands and distract her so she couldn't scratch yesterday and last night. There's about half a ton of ham and lots of other goodies, so please feel free to stay all day and help sit on her hands and distract her. She has her appointment late in the afternoon to get the itchey sticheys taken out, and we can have a HUGE nap pile once she goes. Mousey hunting is available in the attic. THoE is also available on the stairs.

No Skratchin Pawty!

We needs a paw! Mommy is hollerin bout her sticheys itchin and tryin not to skratch. We needs to sit on her hands so she won't do dat. Will yall furriends come help sum today? If yoo can't sit still long enuff to sit on her hands maybe yoo can distrakt her so she won't skratch? After our turns sittin on Mommy's hands (or distraktin) we can snax and haf a nap pile. And Pepi sez there will be a game of THoE for helpers too. Mini is gettin the snax togefur and sez there will be toona puffs and hams and fishies and fresh milk and runnin water and temtayshuns and all sortsa ofur snax. We'll make it a no skratchin pawty!

Thankful Thursday

We're thankful for lots of things today. That Mom's knee surgery went well and now that she has to get up on her feet some she doesn't holler much. That Maximillian is home and his fever broke. That Miss Peach is home from her surgeries. Oh lots of things. We're thankful for all our good furriends.

Pee Ess. Mom's knee is doing good. She just lays around all the time with it up and an ice pack on it. Lazy. But it's helpin her knee heal, she says.

Mommy is home. Her surjery wented very good. She is in lotsa pains and hasta keep her knee up reely high for a couple days, but she's ok. She was furry happy the ann-es-thee-sha didn't make her tummy sik tho, it usually does. She wanted me to stop by and say fanks to everycat and everybean and everycritter for alla the purrs and purrayers. It musta been them that maded her surjery go so good. Now I gotsta go put Mommy on the sofa wif her knee up way hi.

Since our sekretary Mommy is hafing surjery on her knee in the mornin, we're gonna be wifout a typist fur a while. We'll telerport ofur and play wif our furriends when we's not purrin on Mommy tho. And Mommy has stocked up on our crunchies n treats n Gree's fishie flakes.

Grandma Cat is takin a couple days off to take care of Mommy and more if she needsta. So we'll all be ok. Grandma is gonna let Mommy ML know how Mommy is doin sumtime after the surjery. Mommy ML purromised she'd post it on the Cat Bloggysphere, so yoo can look for updates there. We'll be bizzy purrin on Mommy tomorry.
