Finally Knee... um.. Friday

What am I watchin? Mommy is hoppin up and down on one foot. She's gotted her knee surgery skeduled for Febbywary 10th. I dunno but she may be crazee cuz hafin my knee cutted on sounds nasty. But she sez she's happy to be on the way to gettin all this knee stuff ofur wif. So anyways, thot yall mite like to kno cuz so many of yall nice cats have asked bout her hurty knee.

Oh we are furry furry sad, even though Kashim's paws seem to be doing ok today. Something very very sad happened last night. Kashim and Othello's Awesome Man's little 3 month old niece died last night. :( She'd had troubles all her little life including a rare type of epilepsy, but the doctors thought she was doing well last week when they saw her for a checkup. Now she's gone. Awesome Man's whole family and Momma Astrid need lots and lots of purrs because this is so sad for all of them. Our eyes are leaking and we're sending lots and lots of purrs and purrayers for all of them.

Oh noes!

My brofur-in-lawcat Kashim jumped on a hot burner and burned his front paws :( Nurse Momma Astrid put burn ointments on his paws and bandages. Yoo can see how good she didded here at Flickr. Kashim sez it is stupid stupid stupid to jump on a hot burner, even if it seems like you can sneak up there. I fink he's right.

Please send purrs for Kashim to heal up fast and without too much hurty!

Pee Ess. Pepi says he's going to take his bro Kashim over to the M-Cats Club to have a nip-beer or mother's milk or seven when it's ok for him to have it. Kashim is worried he can't ever move again cuz he can't feel his paws through the bandages. So Pepi says we need to cheer him up and remind him it's just bandages. So you guys can meet them there at the M-Cats Club soon. I think it would be ok for girlcats to stop by and give him purrs of encouragement.

Here are our questions for Mom and her answers.

1. How come they don't make Temptations without wheat and corn? ~~Mini
   Because they're not too bright and don't seem to realize that wheat and corn aren't good for kitties.
2. When are you going to get us more anchovy and salmon treats? We're almost out. ~~Mini
   You must have been sleeping when I brought them in. I got a huge bag for you yesterday. Over 6 pounds of treats.
3. Can we fly over to see Othello and a'course Kashim and Salome and Momma Astrid this summer? ~~Gree
   I don't think we have enough green papers for that Gree. Plus, I think you would have to be in quarantine all by yourself for months and that would suck.
4. Can I have a brofur or sisfur live here who likes to play as much as me? ~~Pepi
   If they can pay the mortgage so we can build an addition on to the house, sure.
5. How come Grandma Cat turns off the 'lectric warming blanky just cuz she hasta go to werk? ~~Sanjee
   To save green papers on 'lectricity. But since she does, she always makes sure to leave you lots of blankies to snuggle in.
6. Can we get a noo sekretary who helps us blog better? ~~Sanjee

   Because they don't want to be chased, honey. You kitties are very fierce and it scares the fevvers.
   
9. Can you make Gree stop STARING at me when I sit on the A Pee See thingy? ~~Boni Maroni
   Apparently not, Boni, but I'll do my best.
10. Why is the Chrissymouse tree in your room still up? ~~Boni Maroni
    Because I've been very, very busy. And it looks pretty too.
    
11. When do we get to stop going to the stabby place? ~~Gree
    Well, you get to stop going for a year at a time, Gree. Other than that, you can stop when you live at the Rainbow Bridge where you can't get sick.
12. Why did you let Grandma Cat lock US out of the living area when the allergic person was here? ~~Mini
    Because Grandma Cat asked very nicely, and it was only for a couple of hours.
13. Why did you cry when the Pee See wouldn't turn on this morning? ~~Pepi
    Because I was sad and frightened I couldn't get it fixed and then I couldn't work or blog for you or anything.

Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful Mom let me keep and eat the Temptations Dr. Tweety sent. I can only eat 3 at a time every other day because if I eat more they make my tummy hurt because I'm sensitive to the wheats in them. The good part is that the Temptations are lasting a long time.

I'm really really thankful Mom lets me eat them at all and that a little at a time they don't make my tummy hurt.

Wordless Wednesday - Mini's Pressies from Dr Tweety

Tuxie Tuesday

I am guarding the stairs. Momma is pretty blue because she's going to have to have surgery for her knee to work right again and a lawyer to make the insure-ants beans pay for it. So I am guarding the stairs so that nothing else mean comes and bugs Momma. I will bite it if it tries.

Later though, we're having an In-awe-gu-ray-shun party at our house. Momma and Uncle Milty will be here to watch it. And all our cat furriends are invited too (and other nice critters). So if you want, come on over to watch. We have treats and crunchies and fresh water and we will raid the fridge while Momma isn't looking. There's milk and ham and chick-hen and all sorts of stuff in there. It'll be fun to watch this historic event together. Oh and we have plenty of blankies and cat beds for napping too.

Sanjee is making sure everything is ready for the in-awe-gu-ray-shun party. Of course, we'll all help snoopervise some. We'll take turns between naps.

Skeezix's Mom Karen helped him write about Sammy the Cat getting his own PO Box so he could go into the post office he always lived in. We are outraged! We say poop on that anonymous person's pillow a LOT. Stoopid govmint people sayin he has no right to be in there because he don't pay taxes. I guess then foreign visitors who don't pay taxes aren't allowed in post offices either. Or people on disability who don't pay taxes. Sheesh.

Anyways, we's sending a post card to Sammy at his PO box in support. We has free postcards from our Bad Cats calendar, but yoo could just use a piece of cardstock cut the right size. Send one too! Yoo can get the addressy from the article.

Um, we's embarassed too cuz we hasn't been doin this much. We need to go visit Skeezy and Mom Karen ofur at the Catster blog more. I's embarassed we furgets. We all loves Skeezy and we's not doin a furry good job of supportin his and his mommy in their noo job. So we's finally makin a noo yeer's resolution now: to go ofur and visit Skeezy and Mom Karen reggylarly and comment lots so Catster knows we loves 'em.

Our furriend Meep has bad heart trubbles and he hasta go to tha Rainbow Bridge today. We is furry sad. We are liting a candle fur Meep and sending purrs for his trip. And we's sendin purrs for Bear and Twizz and the resta his fambly for their sads.

Robyn here. Boni doesn't need words, but since so many asked about my knee, I thought I'd put a few words out here. My knee MRI showed that I have a small tear in the right medial meniscus. I have an appointment with an orthopedist Monday to figure out what to do.
